Blueberries
Growing Regions

Blueberries are native to North America and 95 percent of the world’s commercial crop is grown in North America (United States and Canada).

Michigan and New Jersey produce the majority of all the blueberries in the United States, followed by North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington..

The blueberry season stretches from mid-April to late September, beginning in the southern states and moving north as the season continues.

More than 200 million pounds of blueberries are grown every year in North America. That’s a lot of blueberries!
