Unlike tree-fruit, table grapes are packaged in the field. Experienced picking and packaging crews, working as a team, select and grade only those grapes that have the color, sweetness, size, and uniformity to make it in the box.
Once the box is full, the grapes are individually bagged. Bags usually range from 2 to 4 ounces.
